A wondering wanderer trying to stumble my way through the dark toward the light. Relentlessly tuned to the frequencies of sadness, grief, doubt, and despair, but stubbornly pursuing/pursued by the hopefulness found in the creative force of the universe. As an artist and songwriter, I view my task as one of taking an honest look at the world around me and doing my best to tell others what I see. As a spiritual companion, I view my task as one of holding sacred space for the work of becoming more human—for myself and for my clients. As an autistic student of life, I’m just doing my best to remain curious and compassionate, and to show up fully for myself and for those with whom I get to share this one wild and precious life. I’m committed to trying to (as Rilke said) live the questions and help those around me do the same. And it’s my hope that sharing my journey as truthfully as possible will add my tiny spark to the great flame of artists past/present/future who endeavor to be lighthouses for dark times.
